Fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon Dr. James Spratt will join the team of specialists at The Hand & Upper Extremity Center of Georgia on Sept. 15. He will see patients at the practice’s office locations in Atlanta, located at 980 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Suite 1020; in Alpharetta, located at 4165 Old Milton Parkway, Suite 170 West; in Cumming, located at 2000 Howard Farm Drive, Suite 310; and in Lawrenceville at their new office, located at 2200 Medical Center Blvd., Suite 310. With extensive training in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Spratt brings focused experience in treating conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. He emphasizes a patient-centered approach in his practice combined with technical skill to create personalized treatment plans suited to the goals of each patient. His expertise includes:

After earning his graduate and Doctor of Medicine degrees from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Spratt returned to his hometown of Atlanta to complete his orthopedic surgery residency at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at The Hand and Upper Extremity Center of San Antonio in Texas.
