Leah Chandley, M.S., L.A.T., A.T.C., Regional Nominee for The Newell Award, was recently interviewed on Keep Moving Forward, an Oglethorpe University podcast production. The podcast features interviews with current and former collegiate and professional athletes regarding their transitions out of the sporting world and into "the real world.”

In partnership with local leading orthopedic practices, such as The Hand & Upper Extremity Center of Georgia, The 2019 – 2020 Newell National Athletic Trainer of the Year Award recognizes athletic trainers for the service and leadership they provide to local athletic communities. Well over 300 exceptional shared experiences from community members were received in support of Chandley’s regional nomination for the National Award, and the award winner will be announced in May 2020.
