Drs. Peljovich and Gillespie Led Course at Shepherd Center

Dr. Allan Peljovich and Dr. Bryce Gillespie led a seminar course at Shepherd Center for physical therapists, occupational therapists, and case managers. The course, “Restorative Surgical Interventions and Rehabilitation of the Neurologically Involved Upper Extremity,” dealt with the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of spinal cord injuries (tetraplegia), brachial plexus injuries, and traumatic brain injuries that affect the hand and upper extremity. Dr. Peljovich and Dr. Gillespie are the hand and upper extremity consultants at Shepherd Center and provide highly specialized care for these patients that can include tendon transfers/releases, nerve grafting, or nerve transfers.
