My Comeback Story: Shannon C.

I first met Dr. Lourie in 1995 after I was thrown from my horse and shattered my wrist. He meticulously pieced everything back together, using coral in place of a bone graft, and held everything together with 4 pins and an external fixator. 30 years later, I am still riding horses all because he took the extra time to make sure everything in my wrist was perfect. When I started having some expected arthritis pain in the same wrist, I did not hesitate to come back to see him!
