My Comeback Story: Chelsea V.

I pray my experience can provide hope and encouragement for others facing similar challenges. I had excruciating bilateral carpal tunnel pain for hours at a time every night, on and off for 3 years before a clerk told me about The Hand & Upper Extremity Center of Georgia. From day one Dr. Klugman assured me that I could trust him, and he went above and beyond. He and his team are the best and very knowledgeable. I had a steroid shot in my left hand to ease the pain for a few weeks while I had the carpal tunnel release surgery on my right hand. The surgery went great, his stitch work is extraordinary. Within a week I was back to work and on the road to recovery. After about a week, I returned for my post appointment to have my stitches removed and his team made sure I knew how to care for my hand after surgery and was sure that I had everything I needed.

 The carpal tunnel pain I had been experiencing in my right hand every night was gone! And I was already looking forward to the same relief for my left hand. About two months later Dr. Klugman performed my left-hand carpal tunnel release surgery. Once again, he did an amazing job! I was back to work after a week. He and his team were sure that I had everything I needed in order to have another speedy recovery. The healing process was not painful whatsoever.  

I’m so grateful to have found his office. The surgical sites healed beautifully. Since my procedure, my life has improved immensely. I am now free of any hand pain at all and able to sleep peacefully throughout the night! The strength of my hands is better than ever. The Hand & Upper Extremity Center of Georgia is awesome.
